I want a new hairstyle!

I’ve been to a lot of hairstyles since I was a kid. I swear. I cannot open those old dusty picture albums and scan each of them. So I’ll just explain here what are those.

When I was a toddler, my hair has soft curls and its brown. Yeah my hair was “curly” back then. Then in my 3-4 years old, my hair began to grow and my hair turned to black. :devil: (I wish it was still brown that time) I guess my mom wants my hair to be long that’s why when I looked at the pictures, my hair is almost up to my waist. Heck yeah, that was really long. Then started kindergarten and grade school years. That time, I (and my mighty mom) started to experiment with different hairstyles. The thing used? My very own precious hair. And that’s when you can say my hair has been through a lot of “challenges”.

  • GRADE 1 - Can’t remember much of how my hair looked like at those times but judging by the class pictures we had, I have a really short hair. Short hair, pretty much like the “barber’s cut” for boys. I mean that.
  • GRADE 2 - Heck yeah. I remember these days. Due to that “boy cut”, I cried and told my mom that I wanted my hair to grow long, again. She wouldn’t agree. :cry: She said I’m not the type of girl who fixes myself every freaking minute and that I don’t know how to comb my hair. Heavens sake mom!
  • GRADE 3 - Bye bye short hair. Hello shoulder-length hair!
  • GRADE 4 - This is when I (and my mom) started to play with different hairstyles. I tried the “layered” style. Fail. My hair was titled. Then again, I chopped my hair off once again.
  • GRADE 5 - I’m now living with a straight cut hair. Still depressed with the “chop off”.
  • GRADE 6 - Layered hair, again! :lol: I graduated with my hair at its length up to my shoulder.

Break. You’ve probably noticed that whenever I chop my hair off, I whine. Simple. When my hair is still long, I always wanted it to be short again. But whenever its short, I want it to grow. I’m weird like that. I hope I’m not alone.

And now, onto my high school years. I told myself, “try something new Yvette for God’s sake!” Alright alright. That part turned out to be exaggerated a bit but whatever. Moving on, I was still wearing the same hairstyle for 2 years. Here’s the thing: I let my hair grow until it reach my shoulders, then cut it off again. Then I tried “bangs” in 3rd year. And I didn’t knew it’ll look good on me. Hell yeah. My mom always tell me, “no! Getting bangs wouldn’t change your face! Not even a bit!” She also said it wouldn’t suit me. Yeah right mom.

Believe it or not, I’ve gone through to all of those 6 hairstyles. (Hair color not included, my hair color is dark brown) And take note, with a hair that is shoulder length.

I even plan to color my hair like that. HAHA!

I want a new hair. I haven’t tried having curls since I was toddler. Maybe time for a change, eh? Since a lot of people already told me I look like a Japanese, some even thought I was! I want that hair. Even Carlo wants it. I’ll definitely get that hairstyle when my hair is long, again!

Alright. I know. I love changing my hairstyle too much. And yeah. It’ll be much better if I have pictures, right? I’ll get that camera soon! :oops:

wheee ang ganda nung girl! And yung hair nya ang gandaaa! I like to have long hair too. tas kunyari pag may events lang, I’ll curl it like that. ang ganda talaa! pati yung bangs niya maayos. sakin kasi pangit eh. hahaa.. I want that!!! whahhaha :D

Wow. Last year (nalang ulit) ako nagpagupit ng above shoulder length eh.. wala lang.. nakakahinayang lang. LOL. :D Tska, auko rin (personally) ng short hair.. idk why.

Omg. haha.. ayos sa harido’s ha. hmm ung unang pic sa left, ganyan hair ko buong elem days. anak ng tinapa nanay ko eh. hahaha.. ewan ko dun. much more better sana girl, kung may pic ka talaga. as in yung ikaw diba diba ;)

My hair was bob with bangs, shaggy tapos layered. Ngayon plain straight with side bangs siya and hangang bra strap na ang haba nga. I want to re-style my hair too pero no curly for me since di ako mahilig sa curly even if sabi nung ina bagay daw sakin. :blush: Bagay sayo yung gusto mong hairstyle na long ang wavy/curly. :D Di ka nagiisa ganun din ako, pag maikli gusto ko pahabain and vice versa.

oh heeey. we’re so alike. but only, i always got my hair long. i just started getting it short this year. the people were like :shocked: when they saw me with short hair. haha. i wanted the hairstyle, but my mom didn’t want me to have curls cause i colored my hair. i still have to wait 5 more months. :oops:
