NOTE: This is a loooong post.
I was awake by my friend’s text message:
Yvette, san ka na?
Yvette, where are you?
I said I’m still at home and that I just woke up. She became mad (oh, at text). She said:
Dalian mo kaya. 9 o’clock na. Kuhanan ng card natin ngayon!
Make it fast. Its 9 already. Its distribution of our cards today!
Okay. So I forgot it.
They were waiting for me until I get to school. It took me 2 hours to prepare, then half-hour to ride through our school. As I was walking, I saw my classmates ex-classmates going home. They greeted me with this:
YVETTE! Late ka na naman! Wala ka talagang katulad!
YVETTE! You’re late again! You’re really unique!
Yeah. I’m always late. I was never early. Suppose we’re going to see each other then you, say, ask me to go at 9:00 AM at (insert place here). Expect me to be there at 10:00 AM, or 12:00 PM. I don’t know. I’m always late.
Back to the story… I was running, yeah running, through our school. Then I saw them with their arms crossed.
Yeah seriously. All of them. Haha. Hindi ko makontrol ang tawa ko. Kasi naman eh. Nagtataka ko, hindi kaya bago pa ko dumating pinagplanuhan na nila na mag-cross arms silang lahat?

“Know what Yvette? In this life, nothing is permanent. Everything changes.”
I was surprised when my friend/ex-classmate said to me.
Y: Ikaw ba yan?
F: Well, oo. Anu ka ba Yvette. Siyempre dapat maging emotional tayo kasi graduation day!
Y: Ah ganon. Oh, okay.
I asked myself, “Is this event made to make us cry?” I know I shouldn’t because that day is for us to be happy. Happy because we we’re able to finish one chapter of our life, high school. And also, happy because, finally, we’re all gonna be a college student.
Y: Bakit kailangan pang umiyak pag graduation?
F: Think of your friends Yvette.
Now its clear. Honestly, hindi ko naisip yun. I mean, magkikita pa naman kami. It will just be a short vacation kaya bakit kailangan pang umiyak? Hay.

I’ll be missing this section a lot. Iba kasi ang section na ‘to eh. Basta.

I saw this on a website a few minutes ago and I couldn’t stop to be amazed while reading that.
The following quotations that you will read are by kids age 6-10. Take note, 6-10.
“I’m not rushing into being in love. I’m finding fourth grade hard enough.” - Regina, 10
“Sensitivity don’t hurt.” - Robbie, 8 (OMFG. This is soooo true!
)
“Yell out that you love them at the top of your lungs .. and don’t worry if their parents are right there.” - Manuel, 8 (I  this one)
“Don’t do things like have smelly, green sneakers. You might get attention but attention ain’t the same thing as love.” - Alonzo, 9
“Lovers will just be staring at each other and their food will get cold .. Other people care more about the food.” - Bart, 9
Those are just few of them. There are lots but I picked the funny one’s.
Oh, and this one is definitely my fave. I even group-messaged it in text.
“Don’t say you love somebody and then change your mind .. Love isn’t like picking what movie you want to watch.”
- Natalie, 9
I have to tell this but I guess kids know more about LOVE.
